2026 Brat Fest Vendor Applications
Welcome to the 2026 Brat Fest Vendor Applications! If you’re a vendor looking to sell your goods at one of Madison’s most beloved community events, you’re in the right place. If you’re an exhibitor looking to promote your business but not sell any products, please complete our Exhibitor Application [linked] instead.
Before applying, please carefully review the information below and the Brat Fest Vendor Policies. Submission of an application signifies your agreement to all policies and guidelines.
Brat Fest Marketplace Dates: May 22–24, 2026
Location: Alliant Energy Center
1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, WI 53713
Marketplace Hours:
- Friday, May 22: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday, May 23: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday, May 24: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Vendors must have their booths open and staffed during all Marketplace hours each day.

- January 16th, 2026: Applications Open
- April 1, 2026: Application Deadline (or until spaces are sold out)

- Thursday, May 21, 2026: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday, May 22nd, 2025: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- May 22–24, 2026: Brat Fest Marketplace
- Friday, May 22: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Booth Information & Fees
Vendors have several options for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Please review and consider which type of space would best suit your needs. Spaces will be on a first come, first serve basis based on application submission and approval from the Brat Fest team.
Outdoor Booth Information & Fees
- Marketplace Alley (Outdoor): $400/10’ x 10’
- Marketplace Alley Corner (Outdoor): $600/10’ x 10’
- Carnival Walkway (Outdoor): $700/10’ x 10’
- Includes electricity
- 10 - 10’x10’ available
Outdoor booth fee Includes one (1) 10’ x 10’ booth space. Vendors must supply their own tent*, table(s), and chairs.
*Outdoor Tent Safety Requirement: All tents must be weighted with a minimum of 40 lbs per leg (50 lbs recommended). Weights must be securely attached to each tent leg. Stakes are not allowed. Vendors without proper tent weights may be required to remove their tent. Vendors are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and taking appropriate action, including lowering or removing tents during high winds as directed by event staff.
Indoor Booth Information & Fees
Marketplace Arena Booth: $400/10’ x 10’
Indoor booth fee includes:
- One (1) 10’ x 10’ booth space
- One (1) 8-foot table
- Two (2) chairs
Vendor Rules & Requirements
Please refer to the Brat Fest Vendor Policies [linked] for a comprehensive overview of all rules and guidelines. All vendors must review and acknowledge this document prior to submitting an application.
Key policies include:
- No Food or Beverage Sales: Vendors may not sell food or beverages for consumption.
- Prohibited Items: The sale or distribution of tobacco, intoxicating beverages, or potentially dangerous or nuisance items is strictly prohibited.
- Booth Setup:

- Friday, May 22nd, 2025: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Tents or canopies are not allowed inside the Marketplace Arena. Generators are not allowed in any of the locations. Vendors may purchase the electricity add-on for their arena booth or plug into Brat Fest supplied power in the carnival walkway. Note: the Marketplace Alley does not have any power access available.
- All displays must remain within the rented booth space.

- Sunday, May 24: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM (vehicles may not pull a vehicle up to your booth/building, you must walk your items out)
- Marketplace Alley AND Carnival Walkway:
- Sunday, May 24: Between 8-9pm
- Monday, May 25: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Monday, May 25: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (vehicles may pull up during this window)
- Commitment to Participate: Accepted applications are final. No refunds or cancellations. Vendors must open on time and remain open for the full duration of the Marketplace.
- Brat Fest Branding: Vendors may not use the Brat Fest name, logo, or branding without prior written approval.
- No Subletting or Sharing: Booths may not be shared or sublet.
- Application Policy: Brat Fest reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
- Seller’s Permit: Vendors must have a valid Wisconsin Seller’s Permit.
- Liability Insurance: Proof of general liability insurance is required upon acceptance, with Brat Fest listed as an additional insured.
